Ferrari and Vettel were on their way to an early season hat-trick before Mercedes and Bottas found themselves in a position to secure their first win of 2018. It was all turned around however following the deployment of the safety car, with Red Bull making the right strategy call, and Daniel Ricciardo's grit and overtaking skills doing the rest. F1i breaks down the action from the 2018 Chinese Grand Prix.

Brendon Hartley (retired) : 6/10
The Kiwi did well to move on to Q2 on a circuit not at all suited to Toro Rosso's STR13 chassis and its Honda power unit. On Sunday the ultras didn’t make his or his team’s life any easier. Hartley was running at the rear of the field when he was hit by his team mate before calling it a day with a gearbox issue.
