Qualifying doesn’t appear to be Stroll’s strongest attribute, the Canadian bested by his team mate Sirotkin. However, the 19-year-old got another blazing start off the line, moving from P18 to P12. He held his own for quite a while against superior machinery, but he too was a victim of the safety car, which came out just after he made a stop.
