After surviving that heart-in-mouth moment, Nico drove with supreme composure, slicing up five positions from 13th on the grid to score crucial points for Audi in a frantic midfield battle.
Liam Lawson, Red Bull (P7) – 7/10
A solid return to the senior Red Bull team for Lawson. He went wheel-to-wheel with Verstappen on the opening lap and kept his cool through the tricky conditions to cross the line as top midfield runner. A late 10-second penalty for failing to slow under yellow flags tarnished an otherwise stellar afternoon.
