Max Verstappen tamed the humidity and heat at Marina Bay to claim a serene victory from pole, keeping a chasing Charles Leclerc and title-focused Kimi Antonelli at bay. Behind them, strategic gambles, intrateam tussles, and heat-induced chaos shook up the order – here is our verdict on every driver’s performance.

Franco Colapinto, Alpine (DNF) – 5.5/10

A punchy opening stint saw the young Argentine tenaciously hold off Hadjar’s Red Bull for longer than anyone expected. Running medium rubber, Colapinto displayed sharp racecraft and plenty of composure under heavy pressure. Unfortunately, just as he set his sights on hunting down Sainz, mechanical gremlins interceded. An untimely mid-race retirement extinguished a fiery, promising drive that had all the hallmarks of a proper midfield battle.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (DNF) – 3/10

Same old 'another Sunday to forget' for the Canadian. Knocked out in Q1 and forced into a pit-lane start, Stroll spent his evening circulating in total obscurity before his Aston Martin’s Honda unit gave up the ghost halfway through. While the reliability woes are hardly his fault, a twelfth DNF in a single campaign paints a grim picture. A completely anonymous outing, mercifully cut short before the finish line.
