Nico Hulkenberg, Audi (P8) – 7.5/10
A tactical masterclass from the veteran German. Hulkenberg tiptoed smartly through the first-corner melee, picking off Gasly with precision to set up a stellar evening. Starting on the medium compound gave him the freedom to attack on fresh softs in the closing stint, holding off a charging Russell with classic defensive composure. Maximum points extracted from an Audi car that had no business finishing this high.

Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (P7) – 8/10
Once again, the New Zealander asserted himself as the undisputed king of the midfield. Lawson executed a pristine race, maintaining an unyielding rhythm that kept the recovering heavyweights safely out of DRS range behind him. Adding a superb P7 to his Saturday sprint exploits, Lawson continues to drive with immense maturity. If Red Bull bigwigs needed any final convincing regarding his talent, this weekend provided total proof.
