A Saturday masterclass pole position ruined by Sunday execution. Defending awkwardly into Turn 4 cost him the tactical high ground against his teammate, and while he salvaged P2 after the restart, Hamilton knows this race was victory on a silver platter completely thrown away by Scuderia missteps.
Max Verstappen, Red Bull (P1) – 9/10
Clinical, cold, and ruthless. Verstappen pounced instantly on Ferrari’s opening-lap anarchy, jumping to P3 before expertly nursing his medium tyres into prime position. Under intense pressure from Hamilton in the dying laps, he managed the stadium section with wizardry to claim a magnificent victory.
