George Russell, Mercedes (P6) – 4/10

A total nightmare from the front row. A sudden battery deployment drop saw Russell practically driving in reverse off the line, getting swamped before he even reached Turn 1. To make matters worse, he blindly clobbered Hadjar into a spin, earning a penalty that capped off a miserable afternoon.

Lando Norris, McLaren (P5) – 6/10

Norris spent the entire second half of the Grand Prix glued to Leclerc’s rear wing, but Mexico’s aerodynamic drag restrictions meant he was effectively trapped in a high-speed parade. He wrung every drop of performance out of a reluctant McLaren chassis, but couldn't make a move stick.
