The partisan crowd roared as Checo pulled off a signature first-lap blitz, making up massive ground and stubborn defending through his opening stint. The car’s inherent lack of pace eventually caught up with him, dropping him to the tail of the running, but he put on a proper show for his home fans.

Cruised across the line believing he had banked valuable constructor points, only to be ambushed by a post-race penalty for failing to slow under yellow flags. A sloppy oversight that completely wrecked Enstone's afternoon and surrendered precious ground to their immediate midfield rivals.
