Sebastian Vettel says the success of his first season at Ferrari leaves him open to finishing his career with the team.
The four-time world champion joined Ferrari ahead of the 2015 season having previously risen through the ranks at Red Bull, and went on to finish third in the drivers' championship last year with three victories. Having moved to a team which had failed to win any races a year earlier, Vettel admits his time at Maranello has exceeded expectations so far.
"I never dreamed that my first season with Ferrari would go so well," Vettel told his official website. "The dedication, passion, enthusiasm and fascination of every single employee [impressed], but also the fans of the brand Ferrari. Ferrari is simply a myth."
And asked if he could see himself finishing his F1 career at Ferrari, Vettel replied: "Maybe.
"I'm not a person who feels the need to change team from one year to another. That's not something that I've never been in any area of life. At the moment I feel very comfortable, and we all have a great common goal that we want to achieve."
