Just three years after its return to the championship calendar, Formula 1 has confirmed that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain on the schedule through 2037, cementing the event's status as one of the sport's flagship destinations.
The new 10-year extension, agreed with Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., Clark County officials and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, ensures that the world's fastest racing series will continue blasting down the iconic Strip for more than a decade to come.
Since its debut in 2023, the event has evolved into far more than a race weekend. Combining Formula 1 with the city's renowned entertainment, hospitality and business appeal, the Grand Prix has become one of the sport's most distinctive showcases.
For Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali, the extension confirms the success of the championship's long-term vision for the city.
“We are thrilled that Formula 1 will continue racing in Las Vegas for many years to come,” commented Domenicali.
“Since its debut in 2023, the event has been extraordinary, rapidly establishing itself as a premier destination for great racing, world-class entertainment, global business leaders, A-list celebrities and influencers.
“It has delivered a strong and lasting impact on the local economy and community. We always believed that Las Vegas would become a cornerstone of our presence in the United States, and this extension, together with the success of recent years, reinforces our long-term commitment to this important market.”
Impact beyond race weekend
The event's influence extends well beyond the circuit. Since 2023, the Las Vegas Grand Prix has generated a cumulative economic impact of $3.2 billion for Southern Nevada, while all three editions have sold out.
Emily Prazer, President and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., described the agreement as "a defining moment for the Las Vegas Grand Prix and a reflection of the strength of our local partnerships."
“I’m incredibly proud of the team we have built in Las Vegas and of our shared commitment to supporting the Southern Nevada community,” Prazer added.

With major economic benefits, community initiatives and a long-term commitment now secured, Formula 1 and Las Vegas appear set to continue a partnership that has quickly become one of the sport's biggest success stories.
