Oliver Bearman, Haas (DNF) – 3/10
A weekend to forget for the young Brit. After a messy qualifying, his race ended prematurely at Turn 13. But avoiding a recklessly slow-moving Franco Colapinto was a valid excuse for veering off course and into the barriers. Nevertheless, he looked a bit out of sorts from the jump. Most importantly, Haas will be relieved he wasn’t injured.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (DNF) – 3/10
Carrying Aston Martin’s AMR26 under-performing to the checkered flag – on Honda’s home turf – was the mission. Stroll failed due to a water pressure issue that sidelined him on lap 30 of 53. The Canadian started last but managed to overhaul Bottas and then Alonso in short order. Team Silverstone’s recurring, grim theme continued. There will be a lot to review – and improve – during April’s hiatus.
