F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix

Esteban Ocon, Haas – 8/10

Ocon salvaged a weekend that looked disastrous for Haas. A strong start propelled him into the top ten, but pitting just two laps before the Safety Car was deployed forced him to put his head down and carve through the lower midfield to secure a solitary, precious point. It was a drive of solid determination, single-handedly keeping Haas relevant in the Constructors' conversation.

Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls – 8/10

Lawson is rapidly becoming the master of the mid-race hustle. He benefited from the Safety Car timing, but holding off a charging Ocon for the final laps required immense composure. Ninth place is a fantastic haul for the team and further cements his status as a permanent fixture.
