Oliver Bearman, Haas (DNF) – 4/10
An absolute nightmare on home tarmac - because Bearman lives in the Principality. A clumsy opening-lap tangle at the hairpin shattered his front wing, throwing him into a strategic tailspin from which he never recovered. Mired in traffic and fighting secondary braking issues, Bearman eventually retired a broken car. A bitter pill, considering he had the pace to match the top-six finishers.

Lando Norris, McLaren (DNF) – 5/10
Lost the intra-team drag race to Piastri at the start, and things only deteriorated from there. Norris spent his afternoon managing a dying power unit and playing the role of a mobile chicane to help McLaren's strategy. Stuck fast in Gasly's exhaust smoke, the world champion’s race was mercifully ended when his engine finally expired.
