Nico Hulkenberg, Audi (DNF) – 7/10
Talk about cosmic bad luck. The German was flying high after a stellar qualifying session and looked entirely capable of netting Audi some points while hounding Lawson. Instead, a rogue piece of trackside gravel became a precision missile, hitting his external kill switch and shutting his car down instantly. Cruel, unusual, and entirely blameless.

Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin (DNF) – 4.5/10
A weekend to forget for the hometown hero. Getting out-qualified by Stroll for the first time in over 40 races was perhaps the main event of the weekend for the Aston Martin driver. On Sunday, a terminal battery failure mercifully cut his sluggish afternoon short, bringing a premature end to a predictable and uninspired weekend.
