With Red Bull clearly lacking the pace to challenge the top three teams this weekend, Verstappen did what he does best: maximum damage limitation. He maximized a car with a noticeably low performance ceiling, keeping Piastri at bay to secure fourth. A gritty drive in a subpar machine.
Lando Norris, McLaren (P3) – 8.5/10
Norris delivered a stellar performance to comfortably lead the chasing pack behind Mercedes. He didn't look to have the ultimate pace early in the weekend, but he managed his race beautifully and forced the championship leaders into defensive strategy calls. A commanding drive that extracted the absolute most from the McLaren.
