F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix

Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin (P18) – 5/10

Finishing a full lap down from the midfield tells the grim story of Aston Martin’s current plight. Once again, the car lacked any semblance of competitive pace all weekend, meaning even Alonso’s usual heroics couldn’t save this Sunday. A pitlane speeding penalty added a minor self-inflicted wound, but simply crossing the finish line was a minor miracle given their starting baseline.

Alex Albon, Williams (P17) – 5/10

Severe tyre degradation completely destroyed any strategic options Albon had at his disposal. Beyond the lack of vehicular pace, there seemed to be a worrying breakdown in communication within the Williams garage throughout the entire event. Trudging home to a lonely seventeenth, he will be demanding much sharper operational execution from his team if they want to salvage their campaign.
