After a flash of potential on Friday, Colapinto’s weekend slowly unraveled as the Alpine package slipped backward. A poor launch off the line due to a distinct lack of power put him on the back foot immediately. He battled hard against horrific traction and massive tyre wear, converting his Sunday into a glorified test session for Alpine's failed upgrades.
