F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix

Nico Hulkenberg, Audi (P12) – 6/10

Opting for an aggressive alternate strategy, Hulkenberg stretched his opening stint beautifully to build a strong tyre advantage. Unfortunately, poor track position and a constant stream of blue flags thoroughly ruined his chances of utilizing that fresher rubber late on. His true pace in clean air was highly encouraging, but he was ultimately severely punished for a lackluster Saturday performance.

Gabriel Bortoleto, Audi (P11) – 7.5/10

A highly mature and composed drive from the rookie, who finished agonizingly close to the points-paying positions. Bortoleto comfortably outpaced his veteran teammate all afternoon and kept the pressure firmly applied to the Racing Bulls ahead. While eleventh offers no statistical reward, the Brazilian demonstrated once again his precious ability to maximize an underperforming package.
