Valtteri Bottas, Cadillac (P18) – 4.5/10
A long, lonely afternoon wrestling a Cadillac that chewed through tyres and lacked high-speed downforce. Bottas kept it clean, brought the car home, and provided solid development feedback, but there was zero chance of heroics with this package.
Esteban Ocon, Haas (P17) – 4/10
Complained bitterly about a severe straight-line deficit, but Ocon spent the afternoon firmly anchored in the bottom tier. Aside from tangling early on with Bearman, he offered little spark. Haas has improved, but Esteban seems painfully stuck in a rut.
