F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 British Grand Prix

The 2026 British Grand Prix delivered pure Silverstone drama, mixing freak mechanical heartbreak with heroic recovery drives. While some stars failed to deliver under the home crowd’s gazing watch or fell victim to chaotic opening-lap skirmishes, others capitalised beautifully on late-race madness. Here is our breakdown of how all 22 drivers performed on Sunday at Silverstone.

Nico Hulkenberg, Audi (DNF) – 4/10

You cannot blame the German for his car giving up the ghost, but his afternoon was already heading south before the mechanical gremlins intervened. Another sluggish getaway off the grid left him mired in the midfield pack, showing none of the spark required to hunt down points. A forgettable weekend that was mercifully cut short, sparing him from fighting a losing battle at the back.

Alex Albon, Williams (DNF) – 3/10

An afternoon ruined in the opening seconds. Locking up into the first sequence of corners and clattering into Bearman earned him a deserved penalty and effectively wrecked his Grand Prix. While he tried to put a brave face on things by treating the remaining laps as a glorified test session for Williams' latest front wing, a self-inflicted retirement leaves him with nowhere to hide.
