Impressive on Friday when he dominated both sessions, Valtteri got a rude wake-up call in qualifying, receiving a proper slap from Hamilton who was shod with super-softs, while he was on the softs. Starting ninth, following a five place penalty for a gearbox change, he moved into the top six before making quick work of Vettel while on his super-soft rubber. Third place turned to second when Kimi suffered a puncture.
