The Canadian GP was Leclerc's fourth consecutive time in Q2 and his third points haul this season. After avoiding the mayhem on lap one, Charles got stuck in with Alonso for a mano-a-mano. While he lost the battle thanks to his rival's strategic undercut he won the war when the McLaren dropped out.
