F1i looks at the drivers who are vying for the vacant seat at Manor, the last race drive available on the 2016 grid
Following Manor’s announcement that Pascal Wehrlein will race for the team this season, the 2016 F1 grid is almost complete. Just one race seat at Manor remains, with all the other team’s having confirmed their driver line-ups for the coming year.
Wehrlein has yet to race in F1, and in joining fellow rookie Jolyon Palmer on the grid as well as the returning Kevin Magnussen and Esteban Gutierrez - with neither having raced last year - even the addition of Haas means at least two drivers who were racing last season will be without a drive in 2016.
