F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix

Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin (DNF) – 5/10

Classic Alonso at the lights, launching off the line to briefly flirt with the points positions. Unfortunately, that was the high water mark of his Sunday. The Aston Martin quickly began sliding down the order, and a bizarrely uncomfortable issue with a loose seat ultimately forced him into an early retirement. A literal pain in the backside for the veteran.

Sergio Perez, Cadillac (DNF) – 5/10

Perez and Cadillac actually showed some genuinely encouraging race pace this weekend, hinting at a potential breakthrough. Sadly, we’ll never know how it would have played out. His front-right suspension failed catastrophically under braking, fortunately on the pit road. He gets a neutral score as there was absolutely nothing he could do about the mechanical failure.
