F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix

Pierre Gasly, Alpine (P8) – 7.5/10

Starting a lowly 14th on the grid gave Gasly a mountain to climb on Sunday. He executed a methodical, disciplined drive through the midfield, but his charge was ultimately halted just behind Lawson. While happy with the solid fightback to eighth, Pierre knows he needs to iron out his Saturday execution to make his Sundays a bit easier.

Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (P7) – 7.5/10

Lawson openly admitted the weekend had been away from him before Sunday, making his drive from 12th to 7th all the more impressive. The New Zealander anchored his race with a brilliant, marathon 36-lap stint on the soft tyres. He showed immense grit late on to fend off a charging Gasly, despite a wild shared trip through the chicane.
