F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix

Lando Norris, McLaren (DNF) – 6.5/10

Norris owned up to his share of the blame for McLaren’s bizarre gamble to start on intermediates on a dry track. To his credit, he carved through the traffic with much more urgency and efficiency than his teammate to salvage the situation. However, a late retirement put a miserable cap on a day McLaren will want to erase from memory.

George Russell, Mercedes (DNF) – 8/10

Russell defended robustly but repeatedly let Antonelli back into the fight by overshooting Turn 10. While his mechanical retirement wasn't his fault, conceding that the championship is now Antonelli’s to lose this early in the season will sting just as much.
