Peter Sauber couldn’t have better timed his return to the paddock. In qualifying, Pascal more than fulfilled his end of the deal with 15th best time. In the race, he was nothing less than heroic. He was seventh when the VSC was activated to remove Vandoorne’s McLaren and made his one and only stop, but unfortunately ran wide of the pit lane entry bollard. With a five-second penalty awaiting him post Grand Prix, he lost just one position. Four points for Sauber and now McLaren is the only team not to have yet broken its duck…
