He did a good job in qualifying although he could have been ahead of Alonso and Pérez. After a strong start, it went haywire in turn two when he had to avoid the return on track of Räikkönen and ran into Alonso, suffering a puncture. The rest was nothing more than procession run, marked by a second incident with the other McLaren. A shame really, because the Brazilian, whose pace was at least on par with the Force India duo, could have been in it for fourth place.
