All he was missing was the fastest race lap to run the table. In qualifying, Hamilton, now equal record holder with Schumacher, was a cut above, especially when compared to his team mate. In the race, if not for the safety car, he would’ve had no trouble keeping Vettel in check. At the re-start, on hard tyres, he fended off the Ferrari and was never really threatened after and is now seven points adrift of the German. A 200th GP run in world-class style.
