The day when the Haas’ are competitive from Friday morning, they could aim higher. Romain wasn’t expecting much from his Belgian weekend, but things improved day after day. Very pleased with his 12th best time in qualifying, he then put in a mediocre start, then Massa made contact with him at the re-start, but he was soon in the points (for the sixth time) where he remained. He has reason to be proud of his performance.
