If we could listen to all the radio chatter, we’d no doubt hear repeated expletives about the Honda power unit. Using Vandoorne’s draft, Fernando was within a hair of moving on to Q3 when he lost power. He put in a masterful start, but then dropped position after position in the fast sectors where he was overtaken by everyone and anything, just until his V6 could go no further. C’mon Honda, get it sorted!
