Clearly the Mercs don’t like the tight and twisty tracks. However, Lewis is the quintessential professional and third in qualifying was the best anyone could do in his position. On Sunday, he wasn’t far behind the leaders but never posed a serious threat as he struggled with tyre degradation. His championship lead is now 14 points as he eagerly waits to head to Montreal where he won his first GP in 2007.
