The Honey Badger was in a league of his own in Monaco. He crushed it in free-practice and qualifying. It would’ve been the same story on Sunday had the MGU-K not lost power on lap 28, which resulted in a 25% loss of power and only the use of six gears. Within a whisker of retiring, Ricciardo nursed his Red Bull to the chequers and sweet revenge after his 2016 disappointment. He summed up the day best on the radio : REDEMPTION!
