When a driver starts P8 and finishes P10 he has reason to be disappointed. Carlos had the edge over Hülkenberg in qualifying, but his Grand Prix was run under a cloud. Forced to run with the purple ultra-softs for 60 laps that finished in tatters, he had to let Nico past and just barely held on for a single point when he was clearly aiming for much better.
