Max Verstappen, Red Bull (P20) – 8/10
For the second week running, the Dutchman was betrayed by his own machinery while looking nailed-on for a podium finish. He did an admirable job wrestling an unbalanced, draggy car in the opening stages, showing great composure under pressure. Once his rear wing began to disintegrate, his afternoon plummeted off a cliff, turning a heroic damage-limitation exercise into a total sporting tragedy.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (P19) – 3/10
A miserable, anonymous trudge through the British countryside for the Canadian. Trapped in a car that appeared to handle like a shopping trolley, he spent his day fighting severe understeer and an absolute lack of rear grip. Granted, the Aston Martin package looks utterly toothless at the moment, but he offered zero inspiration or aggressive racecraft to lift himself out of the basement.
