F1i Driver Ratings for the 2026 British Grand Prix

George Russell, Mercedes (P2) – 8/10

Fortune certainly smiled on the Mercedes driver, but you still have to do the work to earn the reward. After overcoming a costly puncture that threatened to derail his entire afternoon, he dug deep to pull off a resilient recovery. He went toe-to-toe with Hamilton and Verstappen, capitalizing beautifully on late-race drama to secure an improbable second place despite lacking ultimate pace.

Charles Leclerc, Ferrari (P1) – 9.5/10

An absolute masterclass in race management from the Monegasque. He grabbed the lead immediately and controlled the tempo from the front with absolute authority. After enduring a string of miserable weekends, this flawless drive was the perfect, high-pressure response to his critics. Luck played its part with rivals hitting trouble, but his first British Grand Prix victory was thoroughly deserved.
