F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix

Max Verstappen, Red Bull (P2) 9/10

Verstappen tried to challenge for the lead into the first corner by starting on the soft compound of tyre, but he simply didn’t get the launch off the line to pull alongside a fast starting Russell. From then on, the Dutchman knew he couldn’t win the race; Red Bull supplied him with a tractor in Singapore. But using the narrow nature of the Marina Bay Street Circuit to his advantage, the four-time World Champion put on a startlingly effective defensive display to keep Norris at bay for the rest of the race, all while complaining to his race engineer mid-corner and between sips of his drink. Typical Verstappen.

George Russell, Mercedes (P1) 10/10

Russell has been Mr. Consistent in 2025, but he turned it up another notch with his performance in Singapore. To qualify almost two tenths ahead of Verstappen on a street circuit is already a massive achievement, and to follow that up with a flawless and dominant display during the race was the icing on the cake of a remarkable weekend for the Briton. He doesn’t expect to replicate such great pace in Austin in a fortnight’s time, but then again he didn’t expect to come away from Singapore with a win either.
