F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix

Oscar Piastri, McLaren (P4) 6/10

That’s two Grands Prix in a row where Piastri’s seemingly calm and composed demeanour has been challenged. But perhaps it was wrong of us to assume that he would keep cool with a maiden Title at stake. It was a weekend to forget for the Australian, who was barged into by his teammate, suffered a few lockups, went off circuit and generally lacked the pace of his nearest Championship rival. Did he have the right to complain knowing the rules that McLaren play by? Absolutely. But under any other circumstances was the collision unsportsmanlike? Absolutely not.

Lando Norris, McLaren (P3) 8/10

For once, Norris looked like the more mature of the two McLaren drivers. He should be given his seniority and greater experience in Formula 1 anyway. While he beat his teammate to the line and rightly celebrated McLaren’s Constructors’ crown, it was a lacklustre weekend for the Briton. He had the ultimate pace to win the Grand Prix, but was frustratingly stuck behind a slow Verstappen for the vast majority of the 62-lap event. Nevertheless, the gap to Piastri in the Championship has been closed, which in the grand scheme of things is all that matters for Norris.
