The 2025 F1 season concluded under the floodlights in Abu Dhabi, delivering a historic finale! While Max Verstappen won the race with flawless dominance, Lando Norris's controlled drive to third secured his maiden World Championship by the slimmest of margins. Our final F1i Driver Ratings dissect the heroes and strugglers from a tense, strategic end to the year.

Franco Colapinto – Alpine (P20) 3/10

A difficult end to a challenging cameo for the young Argentine. After qualifying dead last, Colapinto looked "disconcerted" with the car's balance all weekend, unable to find the grip needed to compete. His race was a truly lonely affair, primarily consisting of tyre degradation management and graciously yielding to the leaders for blue flags. While he brought the car home, finishing a lap down and propping up the field wasn't quite the statement he hoped would secure his seat for the long term.

Pierre Gasly – Alpine (P19) 4/10

Alpine’s farewell to the Renault engine ended with a whimper rather than a bang. Gasly could do little with the machinery at his disposal,  even describing the A525 as "painful" to drive on the straights. He spent the evening fighting a losing battle against those in his vicinity, eventually succumbing to the lack of pace. A quiet, frustrating finale for the Frenchman who will be desperate for the Mercedes power unit switch in 2026.
