Lewis Hamilton – Ferrari (P8) 7/10
A muted end to his first season in Red. After a disastrous qualifying saw him start P16, Hamilton drove a recovery race that was efficient but lacked his trademark sparkle. He picked off the slower cars but couldn't bridge the gap to the top 7. All thing considered, P8 wasn't too bad, but he will be demanding much more from the Scuderia's engineers for the 2026 challenger - but the opposite is also true.
Esteban Ocon – Haas (P7) 8/10
"Best of the rest" behind the top three teams - a phenomenal result for Ocon and Haas. He qualified well and converted it into a lonely but lucrative P7. He didn't put a wheel wrong, managing the gap to Hamilton behind with flair and maximizing the Haas's straight-line speed. This result adds some precious monies to the US outfit's coffers. A perfect drive.
