Lance Stroll – Aston Martin (P10) 7/10
Stroll salvaged a point for Aston Martin with a gritty, if spectacularly unmemorable, drive. He benefited from the chaos around him and, crucially, held off a late charge from Bortoleto in the closing stages. It wasn't a headline-grabbing performance, but it was the kind of steady, low-key points-scoring drive that keeps the budget happy. He did exactly what was asked of him: stayed on track and scored.
Nico Hulkenberg – Sauber (P9) 8/10
The "Hulk" delivered a masterclass in midfield maximization. Scoring two crucial points for Sauber, he wrung every ounce of performance out of the car. His defense against Hamilton in the early stages was robust, and his tyre management - while running a two-stop race - was sublime. P9 is a victory for Sauber, and Hulkenberg proves once again why he is one of the most reliable pair of hands in the midfield.
