15. Esteban Ocon - 6.77
It’s not easy to jump into a car in the middle of the season, but Ocon responded well and showed enough to convince Force India he was the driver to take a chance on in 2017. Started solidly and built up his confidence over the first few races, impressing in Japan. However, it was Brazil where Ocon really shone as he almost wrestled the Manor to a points finish in the wet, fading in the final two laps to drop from tenth to 12th as he tried to get the better of Nasr in the constructors’ battle. A very good effort which bodes well for next year.
