Daniil Kvyat - 13th place: 5/10
Not the young Russian’s finest weekend. Kvyat was quick in the wet on Friday but made mistakes throughout FP3 and hadn’t put together a clean medium tyre lap by the time qualifying arrived. Progressed to Q3 but needed to use an extra set of mediums to do so, leaving himself with one attempt at the end of the session but he duly put two wheels on the grass after Degner 2 and crashed heavily. Starting from the pit lane, Kvyat suffered brake temperature issues which made the race a struggle. One to forget.
