Jenson Button - 16th place: 7/10
Leaving team-mate Alonso to deliver the entertaining radio messages this week, Button endured a similar race just further back in the field. Powerless to defend against a number of cars, Button drove solidly and showed his racecraft class when sandwiched between Felipe Nasr and Verstappen heading in to Turn 1 early in the race, making it difficult for both while avoiding contact. Hopefully not his last Japanese Grand Prix as it would be a sad sign-off at a track where he has been so strong in the past.
