Fernando Alonso - 11th place: 7.5/10
Having reached Q2 Alonso made a good start to run in the points, but was soon a sitting duck whenever he was without DRS and with an underpowered engine. Fought hard where he could but often it was a losing battle and he made sure the world knew it by sending out radio messages which described the situation as “embarrassing” and called the Honda a “GP2 engine”. McLaren-Honda might not agree, but he’s earned an extra half a point for the entertaining outbursts.
