Felipe Nasr - 20th place: 6/10
Sauber was not competitive at Suzuka as both cars dropped out in Q1 during qualifying, but Nasr produced a race highlight with his stunning move around the outside of Button in to Turn 1 while Verstappen held the inside line. Opted for hard tyres in the middle stint and lost ground before becoming the only retirement in the closing laps due to an as yet unidentified issue having reported a strange feeling in the car.
