Kimi has yet to run a perfect lap in Q3 this season, but boy did he let it fly on lap one to become the meat in a Silver Arrow sandwich heading into turn 1. He was in the thick of the battle but couldn’t hold off an attacking Verstappen. Despite no signs of tyre degradation he just couldn’t get close enough to the Dutchman late in the day, letting another shot at a race win slip through his racing gloves!
