Despite outpacing his team mate in qualifying, Carlos was never in contention for a strong result,the Renault not coping well with the sudden rise in temperature that impacted tyre deg. A very slow pit stop didn’t do the Spaniard’s hopes any good either. He’ll be keen to get back on form next weekend at Silverstone.
