The Finn really likes the Red Bull Ring. A front row in 2014 with Williams, then the pole and the win last year with Mercedes, and on Saturday he got the best of his team mate who until then had been the man of the meeting. However, his W09 produced too much wheel-spin at the start, allowing Lewis to take the lead and Valtteri to battle with Max and Kimi. He was running a comfortable P2 when a hydraulic issue brought his race to a sudden stop, and a race-defining VSC.
