Brendon was far behind his team mate’s pace in qualifying and didn’t move out of Q1, but he did get his tyres to work early in the race and chose not to come in during the Virtual Safety Car period. He was in it with a shot for a points finish when the gearbox in the back of the STR13 gave up the ghost.
